If We Knew Something Good, We Needed To Share It.

I recall a moment when I was young. I asked my mom “Mama, why did you give the last kilo of rice to our neighbor?” She looked at me and said, “Those people are in need of more help, we can always have more food than them. When you are older, always find ways to help as many people as you can, because if you have a genuine desire to help many people, blessings will flow.”
I couldn’t understand why my Mom would always give even when we didn’t have anything left. But ever since then it’s been in ingrained in my mind to be genuine and help as many people. Don’t look for what others can do for you but what you can do to help others. (Related: EQ and Compassion)

My husband and I had careers in the healthcare industry. I could help people and at the same time, it was decent income, why not? However, we felt something didn’t feel right. We didn’t have as much time with our kids as we liked. We didn’t have much time to look after them because we were so busy. We prayed to God for an answer. It was then in 2013, God sent us an angel named Faith (fitting name isn’t it?) who introduced us to the Greatway Financial family. I started my full-time journey with the organization January of that year and soon retired from nursing in May. I was only 36 years old that time. Crazy right? Leaving a well-paid position to do this?
When we understood what the Greatway Financial vision was all about, we had to be a part of it. All it took to be successful was a mindset change. If we knew something good, we needed to share it. Our lives began to change. We were able to have more time with our kids, create magical moments with them and not only that, we were able to help other people reach their own dreams. My mom is right. Always find ways to help as many people as you can, because if you have a genuine desire to help many people, blessings will flow. Within two years of being in the business, we were promoted to Senior Vice President (SVP).
The blessings continued year after year, $100,000, $200,000, $300,000,
$400,000. Now with God’s grace we were able to be promoted to Executive Vice President! To us it’s just another title, but what it really meant is that we were able to help 3 families become Senior Vice Presidents. They’re able to experience the amazing life that Greatway can help create. Greatway Financial helped give our lives more meaning. It’s a platform where we are able to help and build people. Myke and I finally understood the feeling of giving without expecting in return. This is the same legacy that my mom created that we will continue to live and pass to everyone we meet.
Our next goal is to become an Executive Vice Chairman within this year, meaning we are helping 4 more families reach their goals of becoming SVP. We are forever grateful to Greatway Financial, Kuya Marlon and Ate Elsa and to whole Antonio Family. Our lives changed and we will continue to become blessings to many though Greatway.
