What is my purpose? What contribution am I called to make? What can God do through my life?
I have often thought about these questions (as you probably have). I don’t know about you, but it usually comes with either a great sense of excitement or a gripping feeling of anxiety, depending on the day.
Here’s a fact: Did you know that we shouldn’t be here? Science has given us an estimate of the probability of any ONE person being born and the numbers are near impossible. The probability of you literally existing is 1 in 400 quadrillion. A staggering number. You have a higher chance of winning the lottery with those odds!
I find it fascinating that the odds of any one of us being born is that slim. You are a miracle. You are unique.
Did you know that in human history, there has never been anyone exactly like you? So think about this, not only were the odds of you ever existing near impossible, you are ONE of a kind! You can think of it like a jigsaw puzzle. Each person that has ever existed is like a piece in that puzzle that then completes an image. And if you know anything about jigsaw puzzles, there are no two pieces that are exactly the same.
As I reflect on these facts, I realize that each of us have a unique and important contribution to make in this world. God does not waste resources, he utilizes every component. So my question for you is, what unique contribution are YOU called to make? (Related: Add Value)

You are made for a unique and beautiful purpose. And you know it. There is a burning desire in you to impact, move mountains, and be a catalyst for change in this world. It has kept you up, made you restless, and (at times) frustrated the heck out of you.
What if that frustration is the maker’s way of helping you see what is possible through your life? What if you were not an accident? What if you were put on this earth and exist at this very moment because you are positioned to make a unique impact and contribution that this world desperately needs? Will you do it? Or will you let it go down with you in the grave?
You are called to make an impact. You are called to make a difference. You have a unique and important contribution to make that you have been assigned to do. No one in human history can accomplish it as uniquely as you can. So what are you waiting for? I dare you to make your mark. (Related: We Should be a Vessel of Change)
