Greatway Donates $45,000 to the Canadian Cancer Society

Our 10th Annual Convention of Champions, August 2025.

For the third year in a row, Greatway Financial directed a share of our convention proceeds to a cause the team chose together. This time, that gift was $45,000 to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Our 10th Annual Convention of Champions took place in August 2025. Trish Allen from the Canadian Cancer Society joined us on stage and spoke about CCS's work for Canadian families: the research, the support, and the community that makes it possible. Hearing her speak confirmed the choice.

CCS supports Canadian families through some of the hardest seasons of their lives. Past convention donations went to Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada and United Way Centraide Canada.

The reason we chose CCS was simple. What we do is about impact. Helping Canadian families plan for the things that matter most is the work. Giving to groups that support families through the hardest moments felt like the same work, in a different form.

The gift was made possible by all the attendees who took part in our convention. The size of the donation reflects the people who showed up. That's the part worth sharing.
