With a deep sense of humility and gratitude to God, we are excited to share our amazing journey so far with Greatway Financial. We are in year 3 of our amazing journey with Greatway, although it feels like we’ve had over 20 wonderful years of experience.

We immigrated to Canada back in February 2017 from Nigeria. Prior to that, I worked as an Information Technology Specialist with the Management arm of Oil and Gas Companies both offshore and onshore. I also have my Cisco Professional certifications in Networks. I had my Bachelor of Technology degree in Physics Electronics while my wife Tolulope had her Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She worked with the Government while Acting and Modeling. She was a major face for one of the Telecommunication companies back in Nigeria. (Related: You Shouldn’t Be Here)

Five months into Canada, precisely July 2017, we were Introduced to Greatway Financial Inc. We are forever grateful, and God bless that day. My wife and I were mesmerized by the amazing information and financial plan that was shared with us. Behind this awesome strategy was also an amazing life changing opportunity that ignited my wife’s business acumen. She is the business-oriented person in the family. She saw an opportunity I didn’t see. Considering I’m more reserved than her, she was able to push us into the business. It’s been the best push ever.

Our initial visit to the Yorkton Greatway Financial office was an experience of a lifetime. I can guarantee you; it can never be forgotten. We were introduced to the few advisors in the office at the time and the energy was something you probably won’t see anywhere else. They were super welcoming, excited and in a jubilating state, it was as if we had won a jackpot. These are the type of people you need to be around as "the company you keep determines what accompanies you."

In December 2017, we were invited to the end of the year holiday party in Saskatoon. Before they commenced, they prayed saying “we put God here first”. This was another defining moment for us. As a family, faith is our utmost priority and this concluded our decision to work with Greatway Financial.

We can confidently say that we have a second family with Greatway. The amazing sacrifice and support shown to us by the leaders and the Greatway colleagues during our licensing period is unmatched.  Learning additional skills, understanding finance, the excellent training system, the financial and time freedom, the family culture and the opportunity to be a blessing to many further solidified our belief in Greatway Financial.

In Greatway, we have these sessions where we create Vision Boards. It’s a little session where we take images from magazines, newspapers and what have you, that reflect our goals and dreams. We then glue them on a poster paper and we share it with one another. We keep these posters in our home, serving as a constant reminder of what our dreams and goals are. Little did we know it would actually help us transform them into reality. We were always blessed with the opportunity to attend Unleash the Power Within by Tony Robbins. Upon receiving our licenses, we experienced our first Greatway convention that same year where we were also promoted to Senior Associates. In 2019, we dreamt even bigger, with God’s help, belief in the amazing Greatway System, we were able to have down payment for our first home in Canada within 2 years of being in Canada. In 2019, we were promoted twice to Managing Brokers and Senior Managing Brokers respectively and was awarded Rising Stars in that year’s convention as well. In November 2019, we qualified for the free Caribbean Cruise to the largest cruise ship in the world at the time – Symphony of the Seas. We never thought in our wildest dreams we were going to have experiences as such. (Related: Greatway Advantage)

Fast forward to September 2020 during our virtual convention, we were surprised and blessed with our promotion to Senior Vice President. During this event, we were also awarded the $100,000 ring just doing this business part-time. These numbers signify the number of families we have helped. With full gratitude to God, our goals have been accomplished ever since joining Greatway.

Success is not a destination; it is a journey, and we are sure enjoying this one. Our mission is to continue to add value, be a blessing to many families wherever we are. We are so grateful for a platform to serve. (Related: We Should be A Vessel of Change)

Looking back to where we were, we are not where we used to be, therefore we are inspired to do more. Our journey can be described in four words: Trust, Experience, Action and Consistency. We will continue to duplicate the actions of our amazing mentors here in Greatway with over 30 years of experience being in Canada, because success leaves clues. We trust the system, we follow it and it’s no surprise that it’s producing the same quality of results, because people who produce outstanding results make it easy to duplicate.
